Mr. Bechtold practices in areas of complex commercial and civil litigation. He has assisted in the representation of a major United States research university and its licensee in an international, multi-hundred million dollar misappropriation of trade secrets (lithium battery technology) matter against a Japanese conglomerate. He has also represented parties in litigation and mediation involving products liability, premises liability, medical negligence, breach of contract, and claims under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
