Mr. Clift is a trial lawyer representing clients in complex civil cases and arbitration proceedings involving misappropriation of trade secrets, violation of non-competes, breach of contract, large-loss subrogation, and employment torts. Mr. Clift has represented clients' interests throughout the United States and in Brazil and Canada. He has been admitted pro hac vice in Arkansas, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Utah.
Some of Mr. Clift's recent results include:
- Favorably resolved $12 million lawsuit for plaintiff client against vendor that provided inaccurate computer-generated data relied on by client’s risk control group.
- Obtained summary judgment on sexual harassment and retaliation claims in Dallas Federal District Court.
- Secured favorable homeowner settlement of black mold claim where East Texas home valued in excess of $1 million required demolition.
- Prosecuted trade-secret-theft case in New York Federal District Court for national restaurant concern.
- Obtained temporary and permanent injunction against ex-employee in Dallas District Court applying inevitable disclosure doctrine.
- Resolved partnership dispute for national forensic accounting firm through New York-venued arbitration proceeding.
